Ο Αρχιεπίσκοπος Καναδά για την τραγωδία των Τεμπών

1 Μαρτίου 2023 Θεοφιλεστάτους Επισκόπους, Ευλαβεστάτους Ιερατικώς Προϊσταμένους, της Ελληνικής Ορθοδόξου Αρχιεπισκοπής Καναδά Αγαπητοί εν Κυρίω, Η χάρη του Κυρίου μας Ιησού Χριστού, η αγάπη του Θεού Πατέρα και η κοινωνία του Αγ. Πνεύματος να είναι πάντα μαζί σας. Είμαι βέβαιος, ότι έχετε ακούσει για το φοβερό σιδηροδρομικό ατύχημα στην Ελλάδα. Όλων μας οι προσευχές είναι με τους πληγέντες και τους συγγενείς αυτών, αλλά και τους θανόντες. Προσευχόμαστε για την ανάπαυση των ψυχών των φονευθέντων, την πλήρη αποκατάσταση της υγείας των πληγωθέντων και την ψυχική δύναμη των συγγενών αυτών για την αντιμετώπιση του μεγάλου αυτού κακού. Παρακαλώ την ερχομένη Κυριακή της Ορθοδοξίας, 5 Μαρτίου 2023: α) Να προστεθεί μία αίτηση στη Θεία Λειτουργία “υπέρ της πλήρους αποκαταστάσεως της υγείας των εν τω σιδηροδρομικώ ατυχήματι πληγέντων αδελφών ημών, του Κυρίου δεηθώμεν”. β) Μετά τη Θεία Λειτουργία να τελεστεί Τρισάγιο υπέρ των ψυχών των φονευθέντων αδελφών ημών κατά το σιδηροδρομικό δυστύχημα στην Ελλάδα. March 1, 2023 Their Graces and Reverend Fathers of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Canada Beloved in the Lord, The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father and the communion of the Holy Spirit be always with you. I am certain that you have all heard about the horrible train collision that happened in Greece. All of us pray for the afflicted and their relatives, but also for the deceased. We pray for the repose of the souls of those killed, the full restoration of the health of those injured and the spiritual strengthening of their relatives in dealing with this great calamity. On this Sunday of Orthodoxy, March 5, 2023, I ask of you to: a) Add one petition in the Liturgy “For the full restoration of the health of all our brothers and sisters injured in the train accident, let us pray to the Lord”. b) Perform a Trisagion following the Divine Liturgy, for the repose of the souls of our brothers and sisters who were killed in the train accident in Greece.
